Farmington Daily Times Endorsement!

Oct

2010

I would like to thank all the citizens of San Juan County for your faith and support.  Today, I was pleased to receive the Farmington Daily Times Endorsement for this important Congressional seat.

As we approach the final 120 hours of the election, now more than ever I ask for your help and volunteer support to turn out voters who believe in the Constitution of the United States.  We have handed out approximately 30,000 copies of the Constitution so far.  Your financial contributions will keep our positive message on the airwaves around the district.

Santa Fe & Los Alamos

Oct

2010

I enjoyed meeting with voters in Santa Fe and Los Alamos yesterday.  If you see our truck and trailer(aka our mobile office), stop in and visit for a bit.  My opponent is getting quite nervous as you see his television ad purchases skyrocket and insinuations of sign destruction are thrown around.  It is that end of campaign craziness that we cannot get caught up in.  The ruling class political machine is afraid of you and will lash out however it can.

I have enjoyed competition my entire life, even when the odds are stacked against my team and myself.  I know in this election that the great people of New Mexico are with me.  I will continue to campaign with character and dignity, while my opponent tries to create fear and mischaracterizes me.  Please redouble your efforts to contact your friends, neighbors, and family.  We are less than six days to creating the change that believes in you.  Thank you and God Bless You!

Dick Morris – Victory in CD3

Oct

2010

I was pleased to learn that political commentator and one of the most knowledgeable political professionals Dick Morris has recently identified our race for victory in the coming days.  Thanks for your grassroots help and your efforts which have gathered national attention!  We have to win in order to be able to govern.  The only poll that matters is the one given by you the voter on election day.

KOAT – Final Debate

Oct

2010

We finished our final televised debate before the election on Sunday on KOAT Channel 7.  I would like to thank the League of Women Voters for keeping time, the Albuquerque Journal, and KOAT for putting this event together.  You can view clips of the debate from the above link, it is available in 7 parts.

I believe everyone could see the clear differences between myself and Rep. Lujan.  He believes more bureaucratic government is the solution to the challenges we face, where in I believe in empowering you.  There were several news articles covering the debate as well as the most recent financial reports as we close in for a surprise victory.  A huge thank you to all of my volunteers for your prayers and support.  We are almost there!

Clovis, Tucumcari, & Farmington

Oct

2010

Voters are energized based upon my meetings in Clovis, Tucumcari, & Farmington the past couple of days.  Thank you for your efforts to date, but as I stated in Farmington.  It is time to redouble our efforts in these final days to get conservative common sense voters to cast their ballot.  Now is not the time to waver, nor falter in our steps toward a better future.  America is that shining city on the hill.  The beacon of light for all.

Please tune-in for the final televised debate of this election.  Rep. Lujan and I will be on KOAT Channel 7 at 4 pm today.  If you are an undecided voter, please tune in and see the difference between a career politician and a citizen representative.  Every vote will be needed to ensure victory.  We must win the election in order to restore responsible governance to Washington.

ABQ Journal Endorsement!

Oct
23
2010

Today, I was very pleased to receive the Albuquerque Journal’s endorsement of my election to represent New Mexicans of the 3rd Congressional District.

It is past time to chart a new course for New Mexico and our nation.  We need citizen representation not career politicians that try to scare you into voting for them.  I will protect Social Security and ensure its solvency, I will ensure our Federal Government enforces our border security laws, and I will return authority for our children’s education to you and the State of New Mexico and eliminate the Federal bureacracy that has failed to improve our children’s education.

Mileage

Oct
22
2010

We continue to put on the mileage traveling the district.  Stops in Farmington, Chama, Taos, Red River, Springer, Las Vegas, Portales, and Clovis in the past two (2) days.  We have traveled well over 110,000 miles since starting the campaign a year ago.  I continue to hear the same message from voters that Rep. Lujan has failed to listen to them and failed to represent their interests through his votes.

I continue to hear from small businesses that his votes on health care and raising taxes, as well as his failure to address extending the lower tax rates for everyone gives uncertainty to all at a time where we need certainty.

My opponent continues to distort the truth and offers no solutions merely talking point rhetoric to our challenges we face.  I look forward to meeting with many of you in our final get out the vote efforts.  This election is so close that every single vote will count and might make the difference between continuing the era of ruling class political leadership in this state, or taking the more difficult course of freedom.  Thank you for your prayers as we push forward to victory.

Gallup & Crownpoint

Oct

2010

This weekend, I spent visiting with voters in Gallup and Crownpoint.  Often the Navajo people are left out of the discussion by our Federal representatives who merely focus their attention in the Rio Grande Corridor.

I was warmly received and we distributed well over 800 copies of the Constitution.  Navajo veterans agreed that my proposal to ensure vouchers could be used for both mental and physical care at local physicans rather than traveling to the VA would be extremely helpful.

I will listen to all the voters around the district and I will hold the Federal Government accountable for the many promises made.  If we want Washington to work for us, then its time to change our Congressman.  I respectfully ask for your vote.

KOB TV – Debate

Oct
17
2010

Rep. Lujan and I debated for the second time on television yesterday.  He once again demonstrated why he has failed to represent the people of the 3rd district.  He refuses to answer questions and offers Speaker Pelosi approved sound bites.  I will work hard to lower everyone’s taxes and reduce Federal spending in a responsible and compassionate manner.

You can watch the debate and tell your friends that the reign of ruling class politicians is nearing an end.

As always your campaign contributions are needed to ensure our victory.

FEC – Sept 30th – Report

Oct

Federal Election Commission Campaign Finance Report for me.  $ 90,898.44 Cash on Hand.  Rep. Lujan’s Campaign Finance Report indicates he has $ 316,295.28 Cash on Hand, including a loan to himself of $ 95,230.

As we close the small gap in the polls, I need your financial assistance, to ensure victory for truth, victory for common sense.  God Bless You
